A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Central University of Technology (CUT) and the Black Management Forum.This reaffirms its commitment to CUT’s Vision 2020 which speaks of building strategic partnerships with important institutions in the region so that its advancement is realised.
Mr. David Uwah, regional chaireperson for BMF said “This partnership has brought us together to focus on exploiting our organisational strengths for the development and advancement of our region.”
This partnership is not new between CUT and BMF, but it has now been formalised and both parties are looking forward to this endeavour.
“The Black Management Forum is currently the only black management organisation in the country that promotes the development and empowerment of the managerial leadership amongst black people with organisations. We view the organisation as a key partner to our vision.” said Prof. Henk De Jager, Vice-Chancellor and Principal.
Initiatives to be pursued are identifying areas of development that require specific proposals or solutions that will propel the partnership forward regarding the advancement of the region.
